Serenity Lodge blends luxury, olde worlde charm and relaxation. Serenity Lodge is nestled in two acres of beautifully landscaped private grounds in close proximity to the many tourist attraction of Rotorua. Rotorua Golf Course is directly accross the road and can be accessed by a style over the fence. The wonderful geothermal wonderland of Te Puia is a five minutes walking from our gate. We will arrange tours and visit to attractions which suit your requirements.

We can accommodate up to seven couples and families at any one time. Guests may enjoy one of the luxurious suites in Muriaroha Villa or the charm of the Chalet – or the complete amenities available in the Bungalow Villa. Each villa has its own unique décor including artwork and antiques. We have two smaller rooms available in the lodge, each with en suite, for those on a tighter budget.Most of our suites have their own private thermal spa pools, piped directly from one of the earliest drilled bore holes, totally natural and authentic, with rejuvenating properties.

Recently Papillons Restaurant was established in the heart of the Lodge. The gourmet restaurant offers the finest award-winning cuisine, created by our international chefs. The menu selection is based on fresh local produce with a hint of international flair. Special requirements are taken care of, with options of fresh organic vegetables from our own garden.

The Lodge was ceremoniously re-opened in 1982, attended by many of the local dignitaries of the time. Since then, many famous people have enjoyed the ambience of the Lodge. Some of their comments can be viewed here on out our Guest Comments page.
